How much does a pool cost and what does that price include?The price of your backyard project can vary; your pool is custom build to fit your needs. There are many things to take into consideration; the size of the pool, if you would like a spa, tile and coping selections, amount of decking and water features. The price of the project will include; the pool and/or spa, equipment, tile and coping, decking and drainage, and any water features. If your backyard project has any additional items, such as an outdoor kitchen, fireplace, fire-pit or landscaping, the price will be broken down in your proposal.
Why do bids vary when pools appear the same?
You should compare the size of the swimming pool perimeter and area, the construction of the pool, amount of rebar, and the equipment used. Compare the heater, wireless remote, same filter system, pumps for any water feature, and are the same amount of skimmers and returns used. Also, consider the amount of decking around the pool. You should compare amount of square feet, materials used during construction.
How long will it take to build a pool?
A basic swimming pool and/or spa is completed in 17 to 21 days. This could vary due to weather or large water features, landscaping or other outdoor features.
How should I choose what style of pool is best for my family?
You should consider the family size and age at the time but also a few years ahead. Our designers have lots of family experience and will help you choose a style that works for you now and gives you a little growing room too.
What options do I have in building my pool?
The options are endless, negative edge or disappearing edge, water features, sheer descents or rain sheer descents, deck jets, fountains, scuppers, fiber-optic or colored lighting, natural or a boulder creation waterfall, fog systems, and plaster finishes just to name a few. If you can dream it, chances are we can build it
Can I finance my pool?
CP & SC does not offer direct financing; however, we work closely with several financial instituttions and would be happy to help you choose a plan that will fit your needs to give you the backyard pool of your dreams.
How much does a design cost?
You will get a free design with the construction of your new swimming pool.
Do you only build pools and spas?
No, we also design and build outdoor kitchens, arbors, cabanas, landscaping, fireplaces and fire pits. We can also finish off your design with landscaping and lighting.
What can I expect from the construction process and will I have a contact during process?
We have a supervisor on site during each stage of the construction process. To make sure the construction process goes smoothly and to answer any questions or concerns you might have. You will be in contact with someone daily during the entire process.
Who will clean up the mess?
We instruct our sub contractors to keep the work site as clean as possible but with any construction there will be a mess, two clean ups are done on each job. One after gunite and one just before your pool is plastered.
Are there hidden costs once construction begins?
No, the final price on your contract is the price you will pay unless you make upgrades or changes during construction, be we will always discuss the price difference with you and get your approval before anything that will cost you more money is done.
Will construction stay on schedule?
Yes, our supervisor works with the installers during the stages keeping everything moving quickly, not allowing project to set without any work being done on it. The only time we can get off schedule is due to weather or the homeowner making changes to the project. Please note: There are times when situations arise that are beyond our control such as material shortages or special order items.
Is pool maintenance difficult?
No, we give all our customers a free “pool school” that will teach you everything you need to know to keep your pool clean, clear, and running good. We also use the most energy efficient and highest quality equipment to cut down on extra work for you.
